Shakfeh Law LLC was founded by siblings Danya and Abraham Shakfeh. The firm currently has two offices, one in Oak Brook, Illinois, and the other in the historic district of Tampa, Florida. Both Danya and Abraham are committed to providing clients with a superior level of personal attention. By consulting with clients one-on-one, the siblings behind this boutique consumer rights and business litigation firm have created a reputation of professionalism and sincerity throughout their years of service.

Danya Shakfeh

Danya is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Florida. She attended the University of South Florida for her bachelor’s degree, graduating cum laude from the Honors College. She then went on to receive her juris doctor from Florida International University College of Law. Danya also attended Northwestern University’s School of Law as a visiting student.

She has considerable experience in areas of law including contract drafting and enforcement, debtor’s rights, and business and consumer fraud cases. One highlight from her career came when she served as special co-counsel to the Illinois State Board of Education, helping to recover over $2.2 million in state and federal grant monies that had been misspent or unaccounted for by the school district to which they were given.

Danya currently lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, son, and daughter. She enjoys reading, writing, business, and fashion.

Abraham Shakfeh

Abraham received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. There he graduated cum laude from the Honors College before going on to receive his juris doctor from the Florida State University College of Law.

With his sister, Abraham opened a consumer rights law firm in which he specializes in civil and commercial litigation, consumer fraud protection, and bankruptcy law. Abraham previously worked for the general counsel’s office at the Florida Department of Health. In that position he was responsible for prosecuting the unlicensed practice of healthcare. Abraham is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
